The Source is celebrating an incredible achievement after being named 17th in The Sunday Times 100 Best Small Companies to work for list.
The results, published on Sunday 1st March saw The Source awarded with a three star accreditation, acknowledged as an ‘extraordinary' company to work for.
Ann Cadman, Director at The Source said: "To be awarded with a nationally recognised accolade is a fabulous achievement for The Source and is testament to the hard work of the whole team that we have been able to create such a wonderful working environment."
The Sunday Times list of the 100 Best Small Companies to work for is derived from the views of employees and the policies and processes of employers, using a methodology designed for the British workplace.
Employees are asked to respond to 66 statements which fall into one of eight categories: leadership, wellbeing, my manager, my team, my company, personal growth, giving something back and fair deal. Companies are then ranked according to their performance in each of these key indicators.
Almost half the staff have been with The Source for more than three years and ranked the organisation ninth for Personal Growth (84%). Employees also answered that the company is valuable for their future (89%) and that managers are excellent role models (83%).
The Source received further accolades after appearing in the top 10 of several additional categories, coming fourth for Best for Training with an 83.7% score for training being of benefit, fifth for Greenest Companies with an 86% score for protecting the environment and tenth for Most Helpful with an 87.7% score for people going out of the way to help.
Ann Cadman continues: "The Source has gone from strength to strength and this is all down to the exceptional team we have, who are hardworking, dedicated, enthusiastic and love their work. At The Source we listen to our customers and value the respect and trust our staff apply to their roles in order to do a good job. Everybody at The Source will treasure this award as a fantastic achievement for the whole team."
