The Source Gym this month has introduced a number of exciting new classes, schemes and even a member's evening out!

Bollywood is now taught at The Source, the only class of its kind in Sheffield which mixes traditional Bollywood dancing with an Aerobics style workout. This class is proving to be a success due to its upbeat atmosphere and body boosting moves. The classes are currently held on Thursday from 7-8pm. Get yourself down to move along with the hip busting beats of Bollywood.

Club 50 has been introduced to offer an entire afternoon of activities for those 50 and over who want to enjoy themselves in a more comfortable and sociable environment.  The sessions run between 1pm and 4pm, Monday to Sunday and include use of the fitness suite, aerobics studio and saunas as well as discounted treats at the Café Bar. At only £3.50 a week or £2 a session, who can resist the opportunity to stay healthy but enjoy themselves too?

Boot Camp is a new class lead by Corporal Cole to push you in a way that will get your blood pumping and your fitness level up. The class aims to motivate you to achieve your goals of shedding those pounds, toning that booty or upping your fitness levels. Running from 6:30pm on Tuesday evenings, this class will test you to the max and challenge you like you've never been challenged before.

Shotokan Karate is another class commencing at The Source. The class aims to improve your self-awareness, confidence, fitness and self defence whilst emphasising a balance of speed, strength and control. KUGB has around 400 clubs all across the UK and provides a recognised GCSE and A-Level standard for both men and women of all ages. The classes are running on Sunday mornings from 10-11:30am; what a great way to relieve stress, develop your ability and enjoy yourself.

Krav Maga, meaning hand-to-hand combat in Hebrew, has been brought to Sheffield for the first time thanks to The Source. The class teaches self defence moves using hand only contact as opposed to weaponry commonly used by the Israeli Special Forces and close protection officers. It focuses on real life scenarios and how to neutralise threats and escape possible fatalities. The class is held on Tuesday 7:15-8:15pm and Friday 7-8pm every week in the Aerobics studio. If you want to feel safe in your hands, then this is the class for you.

Also, another new scheme started this month is Members Referral. Up for grabs is a meal for 2, absolutely free, at The Olive Bar in Sheffield for every member who refers a friend, colleague or family member to The Source and who successfully signs up. Get your friends in on the action to score this amazing deal!
