Kieron is Top Man

Kieron came to the Apprenticeship programme via the schools programme in Retail and Distribution in September 2005. His work experience at Top Man further supported his completion of the GNVQ Level 1 in Retail and Distribution. Kieron then joined the Apprenticeship programme in Customer Service Level 2 having secured full-time employment with Top Man where he also had to complete the Arcadia Group tailor-made, competency based programme to meet company requirements.

Kieron started with the standard level booklet which was also mapped to his Apprenticeship NVQ. He completed his standard booklet and his Customer Service Level 2 Apprenticeship before progressing to his Advanced Apprenticeship and Top Man's top level competence booklet in October 2006.

Kieron demonstrated a high level of motivation and commitment and progressed from a fairly undistinguished educational achievement background to his Advanced Apprenticeship programme. He not only demonstrates self-confidence and a willingness to achieve. His manager at Top Man has been so impressed that he has given Kieron the task to motivate the rest of the team, increase sales, hold team meetings, be innovative and add fun to the process whilst continuing to meet customer service targets.
