The Source recently launched an exclusive ‘Apprentice-style' initiative to raise awareness of Apprenticeships in Sheffield.
Mike Denby, Business Communication Manager at The Source, is working with Haha Bar to promote the value of Apprenticeships to young people and local businesses. By introducing an Apprentice-style challenge, General Managers from Haha Bar and Grill had from 10.00am to 6.00pm on Tuesday 10th November to spread the word of Apprenticeships to Sheffield.
From having a photo taken with Hallam FM DJ Ed Nell, to contacting over 1000 businesses, Steve Bould and John Lilly from HaHa Bar had the challenge of promoting the Apprenticeship scheme to the local community.
Mike Denby, the team's answer to Margaret Mountford said: "The Apprentice -style challenge is our way of promoting the Apprenticeship scheme to young people and to local businesses who could see great benefits to their organisation by recruiting an Apprentice - I would like to think I resemble the Apprentice's Nick Hewer as opposed to Margaret Mountford though!
