The Source is supporting Lakeside Village Outlet Shopping who launched a new training initiative in time for Christmas, recruiting The Source as the training provider of choice for their staff.
After discovering The Source's status as the National Skills Academy for Retail in South Yorkshire and the excellent reputation The Source has developed since opening in 2003, Cheryl Sadler, Centre Manager at Lakeside Village Outlet Shopping, recruited The Source as the training provider of choice for the organisation and the 45 stores within the centre.
In addition to delivering retail training to the stores, The Source is supporting Lakeside Village's staff, from security to cleaners, to deliver nationally recognised, work based qualifications. Specialising in visual merchandising, customer service and retail training, The Source is ensuring Lakeside Village staff are providing exceptional customer service in the run up to Christmas.
Cheryl Sadler said: "We chose The Source as our training provider of choice for Lakeside Village because of their excellent reputation in retail training. The Source offer government funded courses that are delivered in the workplace which is so convenient for our staff and our stores due to the busy nature of the centre. We work closely with our stores and those who have participated in the training are thrilled with the progress so far. Christmas is our busiest time of year, particularly in the current climate with the desire for outlet shopping, and The Source is helping us prepare for the festive period."
Mike Denby, Business Communication Manager at The Source, said: "We are proud to be working with Lakeside Village and developing our relationships with retailers and staff within the centre. The team at Lakeside Village are incredibly busy over Christmas and our Tutors are working with staff to ensure that busy periods run smoothly, with customers receiving the highest levels of customer service in their shopping experience."
