The award winning Source at Meadowhall is celebrating the launch of its new website.

Fast, informative and easy to use the new site not only provides information about the facilities, training courses and conference rooms on offer at The Source but also enables users to make bookings, take a virtual tour and calculate their body mass index (bmi).

Mike Denby, Business Communications manager at The Source, said: "I created the website to allow our customers to acess and interact with us. It allows clients to apply for jobs, send enquiries and view training provision. The new site is much more informative than the old one, everything that we have to offer is showcased in an easy to use format.  Any information that needs to be downloaded can be done so quickly, and the virtual tour lets you get a real feel for the centre."

"In addition we have given users the tool to calculate their bmi, which tells you the percentage of fat in your body.  It will help people to see how healthy they are and if they need to consider increasing the amount of exercise they do."

The Source contributes to regional, social and economic regeneration strategies, connecting disadvantaged communities to new economic opportunities, supporting local businesses in their training needs and encouraging inward investment in the sub-region.  It offers a holistic approach to training encouraging people on courses at the centre to also utilise the fitness facilities.

Mike continued: "Everyone who enrols on a course at The Source is entitled to a week's free trial at the Source Gym and delegates attending conferences can utilise the facilities for the day.  We believe it is important to partake in regular exercise, as a healthy body promotes a healthy mind, it is also a great way to build social skills."
