The Source recently showed their team spirit after entering a staff team for the Doncaster Tourism and St George's Rotary Dragon Boat Challenge at Lakeside Doncaster in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.

The team, made up of 10 paddlers and one drummer from across the business, called The Sourcey Pirates raised funds from family and friends in the run up to their challenge where people paddle each 30' boat with a drummer at the front beating time and a helm at the tail steering a straight course.  Although the team had no previous rowing experience, there was plenty of team spirit on the day where crews battled it out over the 200m course.

Dragon Boat racing is an ancient Chinese tradition and the fastest growing water activity in Britain today - as well as the most fun!

Although The Sourcey Pirates did not win the race, the team had a fantastic day and are still raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
