The Source has been crowned first runner up in over 65 businesses at the Sheffield Business Cup. The exciting new inter-business football tournament brought together businesses from across the city competing to be crowned champions.
The Chamber Business Cup, in association with Powerleague and Sheffield's Let's Change 4 Life, is a five-a-side tournament with divisions for both men and women players.
Heats took place throughout October, with the finals on November 4th at the Powerleague Athletic stadium.
The Source team, ‘Hardly Athletic', made it to the final and lost out to the hosts, Powerleague, who won 4-2.
Team Captain Mike Denby said: "The Sheffield Business Cup is a great way to initiate teamwork within organisations and ignite some friendly competition against other local businesses. We were proud to be crowned first runner up in 65 teams and we only lost out on the winning prize at the final hurdle. Well done to all our guys for their efforts - Hardly Athletic will be back!"
