Source Director Scoops Top Award
Source Director Scoops Top Award
20th June 2011

Ann Cadman, Director of The Source Skills Academy in Sheffield, has been recognised at the annual British Land Awards, winning the ‘Outstanding Community Contribution Award'.

The awards were established by British Land to recognise and celebrate achievements in corporate responsibility activities, share best practice and drive business performance across the company in the future.

Now, in its 8th year, over 80 guests from all over the country attended the awards ceremony, representing British Land's office and retail properties, development projects and its partners including planners, occupiers and community groups. As one of British Land's properties, The Source Skills Academy at Meadowhall has been supporting the local community since launching in 2003, and Ann Cadman has been pioneering training across the region.

The judging panel for the awards was led by Adrian Penfold, Head of Planning and Corporate Responsibility at British Land. He said: "British Land congratulates all those organisations and individuals who were shortlisted for these awards and particularly the winners. We are proud to showcase exemplars of leadership and best practice in embedding corporate responsibility programmes into the core business."

Ann Cadman, Director at The Source Skills Academy, said: "The award was a fantastic surprise and I am very proud to have been recognised alongside so many talented individuals. Our business has seen a great deal of growth in the past few years and it is down to the hard work and dedication of our team that we have been incredibly successful in our community activities. This award means a great deal to me and The Source."
