Job Shop brings Christmas cheer for Retail Vacancies
Job Shop brings Christmas cheer for Retail Vacancies
12th September 2011

For one week only The Source is launching a new and exclusive recruitment initiative designed to support people into employment over the Christmas period.

With the unemployment rate in Yorkshire and the Humber at 8.8 per cent (ONS annual population survey 2010), The Source is working with Job Centre Plus to improve unemployment figures across the region and supporting people into employment.

The Source Job shop will be open from 26th - 30th September in Meadowhall Centre for Meadowhall retailers looking for Christmas staff and individuals looking for retail vacancies.

Stephen Hinchliffe, Recruitment Manager at The Source, said: "Retail is a thriving industry at the moment and we want to capture this and offer opportunities to people looking for work in this sector. There are some fantastic vacancies on offer in Meadowhall and it is our job to fill these vacancies with the right people."

The Source will be on hand to offer support to people looking for work, but also to advertise vacancies for the Meadowhall retailers.  Lisa Edwards, Store Manager of USC Meadowhall
said: "The recruitment support The Source provides is a great way to find the right people to fit the right roles. We are working with The Source to advertise our vacancies and the recruitment team are sifting through CV's and short listing our applicants. It's a great way to support businesses, but also helping people into employment."

If you are looking for work in retail, or a Meadowhall retailer wanting to advertise your vacancies, visit The Source Job Shop in Meadowhall Centre from 26th- 30th September in the old Pier Unit in The Gallery, Meadowhall Centre.

Opening Hours:
Monday - Friday 10am - 4pm
