What is the aim of your job?
I work on the Skills for Jobs programme, a pre employment training course that helps people find employment following a break from the world of work. The aim of my job is to support our clients with the ultimate goal of getting them back into employment.

Your job involves helping people find employment which makes you an expert. How do you think you would perform on the show the apprentice?
I don't think I'd last two minutes on The Apprentice; I'd be the first to be fired. I would crumble at Sir Alan's stern voice, he would scare me. I think my clients would do a better job than me!

What are your hobbies/ interests?
Well I enjoy parachute jumps in my spare time...only kidding! I have two dogs and I enjoy taking them on walks. I also enjoy meeting up with friends and eating out. 

What is the best thing about your job?
The best thing about my job would be meeting different people and seeing them change and develop over time. Seeing them achieve their goal is a great to see.

What is the worst thing about your job?
Nothing...honestly! I really enjoy all aspects of my job.

Which client will you remember the most and why?
I have had some real characters in my time here. One client who I will always remember was a lady who came onto the programme. When I initially interviewed her I found she had many barriers that prevented her from entering employment.  She told me she would never work again and was adamant about it. She wanted to come to The Source solely to gain confidence and learn IT skills. However 28 weeks later, a confidence boost and a successful work placement enabled her to overcome her fears of work and secured a part time job.

If you could be granted one wish, what would it be?
I would like to live abroad, somewhere hot and sunny! I have always wanted to do it but I've never been brave enough.
