14-16 Schools Programme

Through the Learning for Life programme of Sheffield, nearly 300 students have benefited from using The Source at Meadowhall for their vocational learning in retail.

The 14-16 schools programme combines lectures at The Source with shopping centre work placements. The focus is on Retail First Diploma Level 2, however short courses are also available for Customer Service Level 1 & 2 and Work Skills qualifications at Entry 3 to Level 2.

The courses are designed to reflect workplace standards and covers topics such as display, merchandise, customer care, transport, distribution and storage, and fashion retailing.

From September 2010 the Retail Business Diploma will be available at Level 2(7 GCSE A-C) for pre and post 16 learners and Level 3 (3.5 A Levels) post 16 learners
